Part 1: Called to Do in Power and Not in Word

Part 2: The Kingdom of God
Andrew McGarry

God calls us to His Kingdom, which He declares is not in word but in power. God’s kingdom is not head knowledge but in the heart and it is powerful. The Word of God comes with authority and power, the same authority and power that Christ had and it is he whom we rely on, not ourselves. This kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy to all who partake. We, therefore, would have all men partake in the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is spiritual and it is in each who are born again, those who confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God raised him from the dead. We are no longer strangers but citizens and ambassadors; sharing the Word of God so that all may partake in the Kingdom of God and the righteousness, peace, and joy that available.

An Operation Of Love

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

February 11, 2010

In our effort to build The Church, God asks us to provoke to unity and provides a wonderful play by play on how we can accomplish that. The key is to treat others in a way that the world does not! That means we comfort one another, we weep when others weep, we rejoice when others rejoice. When we act the way God suggests then we lose our foolishness, we grow up into Him individually, which helps to grow The Church. Some of the practices we should endevour to do are love without hypocracy and abhor that which is evil. We should have an intense desire to edify one another and that our dedication to spiritual matters should have the end goal of edifying each other. We should be children in malice, forgetting and forgiving our anger one towards another. We should seek peace but more actively we should try to make peace. How good it is for brothers to walk in unity.

Provoke to Unity

Friday, February 5th, 2010

February 4, 2010

God, the source of peace to us by His redemptive work of righteousness through His son Jesus Christ, calls for us to endeavour to keep the bonds of peace. We are to not let go of peace, the abscense of emnity, as it is what holds us together. God sets the example for us; He started with love, then got rid of the emnity, and finally there was peace between Him and us. This is our example, our steps towards peace within the Church, the Body of Christ. We cannot however expect for this peace to be present without any effort. We must provoke each other to love and good works. There must be a constant, sharp contention of love that spark all of us to lose our emnity and bring about peace.

Peace through Christ

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

January 14, 2009

Jesus Christ bought back our lives from the thief, from the devil. His payment was his perfect, unblemished blood. He was our ransom and our redemption; through him we are now justified in the sight of God. There is no emnity, no middle partition between us and God because of Jesus’ work. And not only are we righteous and justified before God, but we have peace and access with and to God, so much so that God declares we have boldness in our access to him. Amen!
