Our Access to God

Monday, August 16th, 2010

The overwhelming accomplished works of Jesus Christ fulfilled for us an access to God that God himself was setting up for us through shadows and figures for millenniums. We now live in that open access with God through the work of his precious son attaining for us an awesome and inspiring reality which is this – No one has more access to God than you.

The Kingdom of God – Do in Power and Not in Word

Part 1: Called to Do in Power and Not in Word
Jeff Kessler

Part 2: The Kingdom of God
Andrew McGarry

July 8, 2010

God calls us to His Kingdom, which He declares is not in word but in power. God’s kingdom is not head knowledge but in the heart and it is powerful. The Word of God comes with authority and power, the same authority and power that Christ had and it is he whom we rely on, not ourselves. This kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy to all who partake. We, therefore, would have all men partake in the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is spiritual and it is in each who are born again, those who confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God raised him from the dead. We are no longer strangers but citizens and ambassadors; sharing the Word of God so that all may partake in the Kingdom of God and the righteousness, peace, and joy that available.

At Calvary

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

June 10, 2010

Rachel Barbera and Andrew McGarry perform “At Calvary”

I love this song because of the memor of what it really means. Jesus Christ dying and rising again, and what that means for our access to God. That we can come before the creator of the heavens and the universe with openeness and with love and confidence and with tenderness and with sweetness because of what Jesus Christ did and we can have absolute confidence that when we pray to God that He hears us and will answer us and that when we stand upon His word that he will back it up, that when we walk in love it wil never ever fail. It is really important to remember that it is not just our salvation which “Hallelujah” we have eternal life and that never gets old, but all of the other amazing, abundant blessings that we have through Jesus Christ, and our access to God.

God Bless you all!

Able Ministers

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

May 13th, 2010

It is God that makes us able ministers, not ourselves. Knowing this takes away what would seem to be our overwhelming personal criticisms and flaws. When we give God our heart along with our “everything” including our flaws, he then imbues us with ability and is able to teach and mature us. We see that there were many great people of God who held their own self doubts at times but God’s love, compassion, and infinite ability was more then enough to overcome the walls of their own seeming limitations; that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Judges 6:11-16
II Timothy 3:14-17
